Our Winding Brook staff is a team of more than just workers -- we love your horse almost as much as you do! We take the time to get to know your horse's personality and favorite things so if something seems "off" to us, you will know right away. We are your eyes and ears every day while caring for your horse.
We know which horses prefer hay nets and which ones like to eat on the ground. We know who likes to come in from the paddock first in the afternoon and who wants to stay out until the very last minute. We know which horses get offended if you walk past their stall without saying hello, and which ones prefer to look out the window and ignore us. And of course we know just where to scratch behind their ears or under their belly to make them happy!
Our staff communicates through a formal note-taking system and through an informal group message -- so if you tell one of us that your horse's feed has changed, we all know it right away! Staff members also wear Winding Brook shirts and sweatshirts so you can quickly identify us if you need help.
All of our shift leaders own or lease their own horses, and we take care of yours like they are one of our own.
